Poached Egg

~Sprinkled with soy sauce or salt and pepper. Perfect to add to your breakfast menu.~

12 ounces(300g) tofu, well drained

1 egg yolk

Instructions:

1. Scoop out about 1 1/2 tablespoons tofu from the center to make a hole.

2. Break egg without breaking yolk and seperate egg white and yolk.

3. Place egg yolk into the hole. Cook tofu with 1/2 cup water in a skillet, covered with lid.

You could also use a slow cooker for this. A slow cooker is a countertop electrical home appliance that is used to cook stews and other dishes containing water at relatively low temperatures, with correspondingly long cooking times (several hours). Many recipes simply call for the ingredients to be put in the cooker with little preparation. The slow cooker can then safely be left to run unattended, making it a convenient cooking method.
